Jessica Young is a partner and co-owner of Thumb, a Brooklyn and Baltimore-based graphic design office that was organized as a partnership in 2007. Thumb works on public, private, and self-initiated projects, usually in the areas of architecture, art, urbanism, design, and culture. Thumb's award-winning work includes recognition by the I.D. Magazine Annual Design Review, Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, and AIGA 50 Books, 50 Covers Awards.
