Jaimes Mayhew is an artist, researcher and educator based in Baltimore. As a cultural producer, Jaimes has worked in Baltimore with a variety of organizations to support creative engagement.

Recently, Jaimes has been working on a solo project called The Autonomous Energy Research Lab, investigating ideas of "energy Independence". In 2011, Jaimes traveled to Iceland for 9 months on a Fulbright grant and researched energy production and creative practices.

Jaimes’ art has been shown at Eyebeam(NYC), Red Dawns Fest(Slovenia), Gallery CA (Baltimore), Hoffmansgaleri(Reykjavik,Iceland), SIM Galeri (Reykjavik,Iceland), and Gallery 808 (Boston,MA)

Jaimes is currently a Video and New Media Art adjunct professor.
